About Me

Hello!

I’m Ella, I am a Devon-based artist and have been tattooing since 2015.

Inspiration for my tattoos is predominantly drawn from nature, art and literature. I’m interested in all things botanical and animal, magic and ritual, mythology and folk tales, death and spirituality, textiles and embroidery, devotional iconography, as well as Gothic, Pre-Raphaelite & Renaissance art.

I studied English Literature and Art History at university.

I do occasional freelance illustration work and print making, and have recently taken up ceramics. I love to paint, knit, read, walk, forage and learn about plants. I also have a lifelong love of music, and play the piano.

I have a cat called Floki, he’s my absolute pride and joy!
