Very limited edition lino print run of 6.
Hand cut lino design, hand printed on beautiful traditional Islamic paper from north India. 100gsm, smooth surface, with two torn edges and two deckle edges.
The paper is handmade from sunn hemp fibre. Due to the handmade and hand torn nature of the paper, please note variations occur between each sheet - they are all unique.
The yellow colour is made with a natural dye from the Keshula flower, a seasonal flower from Rajasthan.
Approx 16cm x 23cm.
The design is printed with traditional oil based relief ink in a lovely gold colour. The ink is formulated with a blend of traditional linseed oils and vibrant, lightfast pigments. It has a subtle metallic finish.
As I have hand printed each of them, each one is unique!
